But when you’ve built a business from the ground up, responsibility doesn’t take a vacation.
Even thousands of miles away, I still check in, follow up, solve problems, make decisions, and make sure everything is running the way it should.
At Blue Star Linen, our clients depend on us every single day. Hotels don’t stop operating because I’m on vacation, and neither do we.
I’m fortunate to have a dedicated team that keeps the operation moving, but I believe ownership means staying involved, available, and accountable.
The real achievement isn’t building a business that needs you every minute. It’s building a team that can run it without you, while knowing you’re always there when needed.
So yes, I’m on vacation.
But my commitment to my business, my employees, and my customers never takes a day off.
That’s the life of an entrepreneur. And I wouldn’t trade it.
